Farm Bureau Annual Meeting Features New Look, Location
The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s 89th Annual Meeting will have a new look and feel this December 6-8.Country singer Michael Martin Murphey will perform at Saturday’s Farm Bureau Extravaganza. Murphey, best known for his hit “Wildfire”, released a string of country hits in the 1970s and 80s, and remains a popular touring act. He will take the stage at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec 6. Special thanks to Greenstone Farm Credit Services and United FCS for their financial support for this performance.

WFBF Young Farmers Head to Sea
WFBF is working with Agrotours, Inc. to offer this exciting opportunity for young farmers and those a few years more experienced. This 10 day cruise to the Caribbean from March 24 - April 3, 2009, includes personal growth training sessions and agri-tours during port stops. Port stops include a day in: Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama Canal, and Jamaica. The cost of the cruise will be approximately $2449-$2489, which includes the cruise, lodging, most meals, all tours, and the personal growth sessions. Airfare is not included in the price. Participants must make their own airline reservations to and from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This cruise is being offered to young farmers andranchers nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for young farmers to relax, network with their peers, and discover more about agriculture in South and Central America.
